Standard, Discovery and Silver Merlin Pass holders do not receive free parking at Alton Towers Resort and therefore must purchase a car parking ticket on the day.
Premium, Gold and Platinum Merlin Pass holders receive free standard car parking and will be required to scan a valid Premium, Gold or Platinum Merlin Pass at the car park barriers on exit.
Express Car Parking tickets can be purchased in advance, via the Alton Towers website.
